I am not new to magic, I have learned a lot about magic but don't exactly have the best of luck casting. I have casted many successful healing spells on my girlfriend whom use to cut herself. I have been working on summoning magic and can't exactly summon a basic spirit. I would like some advice and some spells that you might have in mind for me to try out.
I think summoning in magic is often misinterpreted.
Summoningsarerituals not spells in my opinion. You have to be in the right mindset to perform a successful summoning spell. And you have to be experienced in ritual casting as well as spell casting. Because if you're new or a little bit more experience in casting it's advised not to perform these types of rituals for many reasons. So many things can go wrong that could put your safety in danger, hence, why is it recommend that more experienced people do these types because they consider being more prepared in case anything dangerous happens.
Overall, in summoning, you have to know what you're getting yourself into summoning isn't some game or something "cool" to do it's a very serious thing that shouldn't be tossed around. (not saying this is what you are doing but something everyone should be made aware of)
Start with inviting a spirit before summoning. Get a better understanding of spirits and what they can do and how to protect yourself if anything does go wrong get more experienced with them and knowledge about them.
Now to answer your question (sorry about doing all that ^ before answering I just want you and others who are reading this forum to know) Here are some advice and tips:
Try a ritual, make sure your mind is clear and focus, clear the room of negativity, clear yourself of any negativity, and make sure to know why you're summoning a spirit. No spirit wants to come only for you to take it as a joke or a game, be serious the last thing you want to do is make a spirit feel disrespected.
