Question

Alright. So there is something I keep seeing. People go back and forth on whether witches are only women or all gender can be witches. I'm pretty confused with this, so can someone tell me what defines a witch?

A witch is a person who chooses to practice witchcraft.
Anyone, of any gender can call themselves a witch, when they begin to study and practice witchcraft,as it is a gender neutral term.

Witch is a gender neutral term, [i have male and female friends who call themselves a witch. There's a podcast I listen to where someone who is gender fluid calls them self a witch] it's just a stereotype that witches are woman and wizards or 'warlocks' are men [and while I have know a couple men who go by wizard, I've never met one who uses warlock since they see it as an insult if you research the history of the term] so yeah, anyone can be a witch if you're comfortable with the word.

Pretty much everyone explained it here. A witch is a person who practices witchcraft, regardless of race/gender/sexuality/ethnicity/age.
