My friend is a firm believer of dark magic and it’s taking over her life and I want to stop her from committing any further crimes within society.

Destroying you're friend that's not very nice, if you're friend is doing things that are reckless to his or her safety then have her committed.

But if you're friend is simply using dark magick as you say then let her it's her choice to be able to practice what he or she wants.

You shouldn't try and destroy her, what you should do is be supportive of her!

A little note since you mention crimes, if something goes against the law in your country/state, you ought to report it to the authorities.

Magick wise though, if you feel the need to, you could always bind her, it's not necessarily " dark magick ".

You're trying to destroy your friend because they do 'dark magick'? Seems kind of extreme to me. Have you tried talking to your friend, voicing your concerns? [and not just wagging your finger and going 'it's bad' because some people do cast spells some may see as 'dark' but aren't that evil to the caster in question] be calm, voice your opinion, and then actually listen to what they have to say.

If your friend is breaking the law however [depending on the crime imo, of this is like cutting class and smoking underage, it's a little different from theft, vandalism and murder] you should go to the police.

If you spoke with your friend and they refuse to stop, your options are stop being their friend or bind them [or both] or accept your friend is on a different path than you and try to move on. Strange as it may sound not everyone follows the threefold law or karma, hexing can be healing, and some people will follow a path where 'dark magick' is accepted and they never feel any adverse effects.
