Why try banishing? You realize that can serve to attract more negativity rather than banish it sometimes, right? Why not try offering it the incense and allow it to transform from the special scent. Or visualize yourself becoming pure nectar and offer yourself to this being(entities are the manifestations of your mind, not actually physical beings as we may perceive). Allow the nectar to transform the entity when drunk and become one with the entity, meditating on thus. This should help keep peace at last.

If these don't help, you might want to search up someone local who can remove spirits by force through various means.
It sounds like the entity could potentially be feeding off of some negative emotions or insecurities. Possibly any things you are uncertain about or any anxieties in your life. I would first suggest figuring out what it is that attracts the entity to you, and what the entity is feeding off of. After figuring out that, I would recommend a simple banishing ritual with some incense, crystals and/or sage. Just call forth the sprit and state that you want it gone. For this I would recommend dragon's blood incense or frankincense. Those are two of my favorites that I have had the most success with. After banishing the entity, cleanse your room daily until you are certain there is no residual energy left.
