Feeling Magick

After over a decade of practicing energy work and learning ways to make myself a better person and caster i again come across questions i find unable or difficult answer. One of those questions brought me to an extraordinary set of different answers and collective emotions i assumed would be my answer. My question was: When you cast spells, or rituals do you get a sensational feeling that is difficult to explain but resides somewhere between joy and enlightenment? This question was asked to two of our very own on spellsofmagic.com, Agiel and Mister_Kaos and they answered as follows:

Agiel: "If I would describe what I feel it would be the feeling of being connected with the higher Self and higher energies. To be connected to something wonderful and good. I just call it ' the light '".

Mister_Kaos: Enlightenment, control, silence, dark, and stillness of the mind and body. Only way I can describe it.

S.Baron: The feeling to me can be described as residing in the eye of the storm in the middle of the universe stretching my "awareness" far into deep space.

Over the years i have casted hundreds of spells, and i always got this large "feeling" during or after the spell i casted and can never fully describe my feeling. What i believe is happening is we experience different versions of energy and our own life experiences fill in the gaps. Our awareness of the flow, our understanding of energy, and our spiritual practices play a part in the making of this feeling. To our newbies if your wondering if your spells worked, ask yourself my question and trust your feelings. I am even more curious to learn how others define the feeling of magick and energy work, so please feel free to drop below your own experiences for others to see!
