Witch Hunters?

Hi, I was on tumblr yesterday and found this post that talks about something being "off" and different witches being attacked by a strange entity that varies slightly from each victim's perspective.
I've been trying to research what witch hunters are, since that's what the one coven - who trapped it - found out what it is, but there is no info about it anywhere... Does anyone know anything about witch hunters? Has anyone else delt with one before?

Well my phones not happy with me trying to look up your link so I couldn't read it but if they claim spiritual creatures calling themselves witch hunters are attacking them, I call shenanigans on them. Witches are not being hunted by spiritual beings. Not to say actual humans don't hunt witches, threaten their lives, vandalize their property, get them fired, and otherwise ruin their lives for 'devil worship' [look into African Witch Hunts which are going on right now for extreme realities for some who are not even witches]

Being an open witch in some areas can be very dangerous but not the result of hunters, but by people who don't understand real witchcraft from fantasy.
