Coven Advice

I'm having issues finding a new and fairly active coven. I would really enjoy being accepted into one - but would preferably like to stay away from any excessive amounts of back magick.

Since you said you dont want excessive amounts of black magic, i will just tell you that Black Cross wouldn't be a good coven for you. Like UnholyFlame said, The Legion of Light and Dark is a good choice, and so are some ones like Teen Witches or The Broom Closet. If you found one you seem to be interested in, I would suggest messaging the priest/ess to get more information on the coven.

The Air Element would also be glad to have you. We're not the most active in the world, but there's a lot of positive energy going around. I'm currently in the coven's council.

My best advice would be to look at the covens. Their group page, their members, talk to their leaders, read posts by their members. Then apply to the one you feel most comfortable with. Every coven does what it can to stay active, there are lulls everg now and then. Ultimately you want to go for the group that will be of most benefit to you and your practice.
