That is really helpful, you have no idea. :) Thank you. I think when I've prayed recently, or in the past, there has always been a bit of passiveness, and possibly selfishness. I find that before casting that spell last week, I had to really pull the intent forward, and not be passive. And what you say here, this gives me pause to think about my boss perhaps in a less harsh light. I have been so angry with him for bringing such negativity into the workplace, that I never really thought about why he is that way. I couldn't really ever know, but he seems lonely and lost. My banishing spell was to banish him, lol at first...but, that's not realistic, so banishing my negative thoughts about him and his negative aura, might be a better aim. Do you think?

I always believe that if you are capable of forgiveness and letting go, you have already free yourself of such negativity. Magic can only go so far, but it is the person themself that must be willing to change. I was once a very negative person. No spell I did could ever help me. I realize I need to make that decision and let go. A spell cannot force me to let go of something I have been holding on to my entire life. Everything is about perspective. Your boss may hold negativity in him, but being a leader; running a project or a business is very difficult. I took on many leadership roles. It was indeed stressful and nerve wrecking.

Continue to pray all negativity away. Just remember you must meet God halfway.

I agree, forgiveness is something that comes from within, and a spell won't help with that. Although, a spell could help you with gaining perspective or strength. My first and only spell I've done was last week, and it has somehow changed me a bit. I didn't expect that. It calmed me, if that makes sense...and I didn't have the same grievance with my boss, that I did before casting the spell. Fast forward to today, and my boss was finally called out on all the terrible behaviors he's displayed at work (he's basically a bully to me and the rest of his team) I've tried to pray for him, help him, befriend him, and he only takes advantage. When I cast that spell, I wasn't emotional but I remember just wanting him to be banished, or at least his negativity to be banished away from me.

Well, he was called into HR today, and that is something I never thought would happen. It's weird though, because I've let go of the angst, and that was probably part of what happened through the spell. lol

Thanks for your insights, it's been so helpful!

That's good then from all you need to do is your best and let karma take care of the rest I am shore the suffering they course is revived back in spades but at the same time its sad that those that endure usually pass on their anger to others theirs a time when people must accept to break the cycle and thats finley when karma as teacher for them you sad in the fact if they never will learn if they dont understand thats all the punishment they will need because they not you are trapped in a endless cycle

Banishing can be about negative energy, but I have found that it generally deals with some sort of entity. When you want to scrub negativity from something, it is easier and usually works better to use a cleansing. That being said, they are very similar in how they are cast. A cleansing is to brighten a space and throw out all of the bad energy in it. It can also be used on yourself as a form of meditation in which you let go of all the things that trouble you and allow yourself to be at peace, releasing any grudges, resentment, or ill feelings from your life. It can be a very healing experience mentally. It sounds like that might be what you did.

The reason it worked is because you cast it on yourself, and the reason it didn't work the first time is because the subject must be a willing participant for it to work. So that would mean that your boss would have to want to get better and be positive for any cleansing you cast to actually help. The old phrase about not being able to help those who don't want to be helped is true. You could do a million cleansings, but if your boss keeps thinking negatively, they will ultimately have no effect.

You could do other things to try and lighten the atmosphere, but it starts with you. You could do a cleansing on your workplace and do your best to go in with a positive attitude every day, but it would still need to be repeated every now and then because energy is sticky and you can't count on everyone coming in with a positive attitude every day. So cleansings are meant to be repeated any time you feel they are necessary.

You could also try to enchant something with positivity. This is the entire concept of a honey jar spell actually, which is meant to sweeten someone's attitude toward you. But you could also try to enchant something like a picture or some flowers or really anything, just to brighten the space around you. How long it would last depends on the intensity of the energy you endowed it with and also the intensity of the energy around it that might oppose it and weaken it. So even these should be recharged as often as you deem necessary.

Best of luck to you with your boss, and I am happy for you for having been able to work it out with yourself. Blessedbe.

Actually, I think the spell did ''work,'' in that for the past two weeks, changes in my workplace changed. But, my boss' behavior got worse towards one coworker, but what ended up happening this week, is he was called in to the HR Dept, and they have officially warned him. This has never happened in the few years I've been there, granted I never said anything and spoke up for myself. I'm not a confrontational type of person, but it just seems like ironic timing that I cast the spell, and two weeks later, he was finally called out. He is the type of person who doesn't admit faults, and think it's everyone else's issues. It is up to him now to change, since this has been pointed out to him through complaints. The HR manager spoke with me this past week as well to see what my take has been, and I shared my experiences with my boss to her. (finally)

I'm a pretty positive person and have tried to come in with a positive attitude, but my reason for being interested in this spell, is that HE needs to change, his negativity needs to go. It's unfair to have to keep walking on eggshells and take the higher ground when someone is negatively affecting the whole work space. I believe in still taking the higher ground, but from what I've been reading, a spell can help our own perspectives yes, but it can also work to rid our lives of unwanted situations. Like a chess game, the pieces started moving over the past two weeks. I can hardly believe the change that has taken place. But, it's yet to be seen if HE will change. He is the type to harbor grudges, when an employee makes a mistake, let's say comes in late...he never lets it go, and then starts bullying that employee, even after they stop coming in late. He needs to go lol He doesn't belong in the role, but if he chooses to stay...he will have no choice by to change his ways.

I believe that the spell helped this situation to finally move...and it helped me to feel validated, that I wasn't alone in how I was feeling about him. It also helped me to find some peace. But, I have to say, I feel a little overwhelmed with all that has happened the past few weeks, I guess because I honestly thought the situation was hopeless. Overwhelmed meaning...I really never gave much thought to spells in my life, and never used one ever...until a few weeks ago, so I'm taken aback by how channeling our intentions for positive change really works.

It sounds like you have mixed feelings about the spell. The banishing spell sounds like it wiped away some of his negative energy from you. This along with positive thinking helped your outcome.

However, it still sounds like he is having issues with the other co-workers. For this I would recommend the following. A person is only going to change if they want to, no matter what spells you use, they might impact personality a tiny bit, but if you don't have consent for a spell. and if he has a lack of belief it makes it all the more harder to deal with the issue. As you are a beginner I would recommend taking a non-magickal approach, try and keep the team morale up by maybe talking with them about the issue, or bring in coffee one day or something, a happy team is less likely to focus on the issues with the boss. Further, you may also want to try making a bottle to absorb negative energy and put it somewhere in the area or on your desk to help keep negative energy at bay.

Hope this helps, good luck with your boss.
