Personal Bio

Introduction:

I am from what F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby refers to as the "Valley of Ashes". I am an eclectic solo practitioner who has a form of duality in which one side enjoys the sciences and the other, music and literature. They are opposites in everything from studies to interests to hobbies. They are, in a sense, light and dark sides of me who are in constant battle, yet cannot survive and thrive without one another. Because of this, I become the definition of a paradox. At times, I do enjoy a lovely conversation though I prefer conversations with less hatred and more civility. I am an experienced tarot reader who enjoys performing a little candle magic and meditation using stones. The moon fascinates me. There is something luminous and vibrant about the moon that I am constantly drawn to. Late at night, when arriving home, I linger onto the streets, staring at the magnificent spark of light. No darkness could ever conquer something so beautiful. Under the moonlight, I can walk freely with the darkness, having absolutely no trepidation. I heed the calling of nature. She is both powerful and ethereal; my home and my safe haven. I would walk along parts of the city where only the trees reign; forest-like areas away from paving paths and onto unmarked roads just so I may be able to feel her graceful embrace. My solitary soul seeks for it dearly. The closer I am to nature, the stronger I feel.

What I am willing to do:

  • Console you for any reason. We all need someone to listen, expressing painful emotions and sympathies. I am willing to be your little light at the end of the abyss.
  • Provide guidance and/or advisory: it may be about magic or other things such as the sciences and the arts/literature; both of which I deeply adore.

What I am UNWILLING to do:

  • Cast a spell for you
  • Tarot readings
  • Listen to or believe in your delusions
  • Roleplay
  • Waste my time.

I will NOT tolerate:

  • Harassment
  • Threats
  • Flirting
  • Fluff topics
  • Disrespect. If I speak with civility, I expect the same from others.

Note: When sending me a message, please write at least two sentences. If one just writes "Hi", "Hey", "Hello" or anything else similar to these, I will not answer. If anyone needs advice, please describe the situation in one message instead of multiple so I may be able to advise better and quicker to the best of my knowledge.

Symbolism:

I have decided to add this section to my bio. The reason behind this is because many have asked what animal best represents me. In my opinion, this is a fantastic question. For I am also a writer; symbolism and imagery are some of the most important factors in my stories. What best describes me is not specifically an animal, but a mystical creature is the Phoenix. Octavia E. Butler once said, "In order to rise from its own ashes, a Phoenix first must burn." A Phoenix dies; its flesh to ash and blood to dust, but life to be conquered by death? Nay. From its own ashes, a Phoenix rises. It displays its flames as it stretches its wings and claims the skies once again. Just like the resurrection of the Phoenix, I will always rise from any obstacles. I come from what The Great Gatsby refers to as the "Valley of Ashes". From the ashes of New York City rises a first-generation American with enough burning passion and motivation in her heart to continue her pursuit of her aspirations. Dr. Mark Reid once said, "Student, you do not study to pass the test. You study to prepare for the day when you are the only thing between a patient and the grave." Many times, when adversary happenstance to overpower me, I will break myself in order to revive and recreate myself to be stronger than before. With every challenge I face, I learn something new. With every fall I experience, I rise up and continue my journey. This is my resurrection.

"There is a kind of magicness about going far away and then coming back all changed."
