Cartomancy Question
By: / Beginner

So I bought a new book on playing card divination and I have a question. I hope any of you professional tarot readers can help, since playing card divination is similar to tarot. It says in the book an ace can represent something about the questioner when pulled as the first card. What if the reading wasn't about questioner? Do I still read it as such? I know divination is flexible with making your own meanings and such, though I find this interesting and I wish to apply it to my practice.

Any help will be appreciated!

Thank you and many blessings!

I do tarot reading as my main form of divination, which as you said, is a little different fro using playing cards, but still related. To me, what it means by the questioner is the person who is asking a question. Whether or not you are doing a general spread of doing it specifically for someone else, there is always a 'question-giver'. You can not answer a question if you have not been asked one, yes? So if you a re doing a spread for a friend, they essentially act as the 'questioner', even if they do not directly ask a question. If you are doing a spread for yourself, *you* are the 'questioner', even if you do not ask a question as of such.

Hope this was helpful for you.

Aces in Cartomancy tend to represent new beginnings, fresh ideas, and what not. Cartomancy is all flexible, and usually the face cards are used as significators.
