Anyone heard of a book?

Hi there I'm new here but I have question that has been troubling me for
some time.A friend of mine told me of a
book that if you read it your wife/husband dies.However he did not told me

It sounds like a folk tale or a story your friend made up. History is full of legends and myths surrounding cursed objects. Simply reading from a book will not result in the death of anyone and pinpointing this one book could be difficult.
