Pendulums

I've just started using a pendulum (took me long enough), and I actually really enjoy it. It's so simple and easy to pick up (at least in my experience so far).

Do any of you guys use Pendulums?

If so, do you stick to Yes/No questions, or do you use a Pendulum Mat that has the alphabet, yes/no, maybe/I don't know, etc.?

If you don't use a Pendulum, is it something you would consider using? Why or why not?

I'm looking forward to reading your responses!

I honestly love pendulums so much, I know they're just weights on the end of a string/chain, but I find them very good to vibe with.

I prefer crystals to other kinds of materials used for the weight, but I do find that using a metal one is very nice, as usually it's very balanced. I'd really like to own one at some point but I have to tell myself to wait because I already have four!

I use my pendulum in a lot of ways, sometimes just having conversations. Yes and no can turn to positive and negative, you can make your own mat and have more specific questions. Before I started using a mat I just used paper.

I've also used my pendulums for spirit communication, which I know isn't for everyone but it helped me feel safe as opposed to other ways of communicating. You can ask the pendulum to swing to where in the room the spirit is, and ask it questions in your head if you don't want the spirit to hear. It also depends on the type that you use, as the purple fluorite/moonstone one I used worked much better than black tourmaline.

One thing I want to do is make my own pendulum board, probably out of wood. I want to gloss it over and put pretty designs on it maybe using it for a certain deity.

I like using my pendulums for all kinds of things, at first I was a bit skeptic because I thought it was just a yes/no question kind of thing, but ther's a lot of creative things you can do with them and I really like that :+)

I haven't used a pendulum before but, I am thinking of making my own or buying one soon. They always appealed to me. Also since it is so simple to use. Although the thing that would make it difficult for me is my shaky hands. I wouldn't always be able to tell the difference. I guess that is why some people use a stand.
Once I get or make one I am just going to use a paper and write down the alphabet. First, though I would just do simple yes and no questions. If you have any advice feel free to pm me.
