The pinned threads in the General Info section are a great place to start.

For beginning a practice, I would suggest meditation and study.

Looking at your profile, I can offer this advice: A lot of spells posted under the spells tab are false. It is why many are under the 'Trick' and 'Fantasy' sections. Magic cannot change your DNA, species, or your physical form. It can, however, help you develop inwardly, and affect probability externally.

I would recommend reading up on meditation like prsona stated. Also I would read up on the basics of wicca or anything you're interested in.

Find out certain topics you're more interested in like crystals, divination, or spirit work.
