We all face fear throughout life regardless of who you are, well I actually want to dispose of this emotion. I am 14 but I really feel I should bring this fear to end. I have wanted to get into doing magic a lot but my biggest factor of stopping me from doing so is fear. I have come to this forum to request advice for my conflict. It can be a recommendation of a book, article, spell, or anything to help stop or lower my fear. Thank you
I think being fearful is always a normal thing to feel when you first begin, I know I definitely was afraid of a lot of things when I first began. But reading, learning and asking questions will always help. What ever scares you about magick, learn about it sometimes we have preconceived notions that make us afraid of things.
You could channel that fear.
Personally, I find that the more you push yourself and do what scares you, the less control that fear has on you.
Just have to push yourself and after a while the fear should subside.

What is it exactly that you fear about doing magic? Knowing what makes you afraid makes it easier to suggest ways to overcome that fear.
I will also say that having a bit of fear of, or at least healthy respect for, the possible consequences of doing magic is not a bad thing. It makes us take things more seriously and think before we act.
Fear is a necessary human instinct. It can help you avoid things that you subconsciously know are dangerous but at the same time there are moments when you need to conquer your fear. I do not think magick is something to fear but a healthy dose of caution is never a bad thing. Learning to meditate and calm yourself might assist you in dealing with your fears but in the end the only true what to conquer a fear is to face it straight on. You should look at your fears, analyze them, and discern if they hold any logical reasoning. If there is a logical reason to fear something then discover if there are ways to eliminate or diminish perceived dangers. Fear is something everyone can relate to and I am sure you will find your way.
