Sounds rather like a story in creepypasta and also rather like a specific Stephen King novel..

I suspect this was a dream and nothing more. You might have started out lucid dreaming, but often we move beyond lucid dreaming into simply dreaming.

I see how may think that this a "creep pasta" or has influence from Steven King, I assure you neither is true. I've been looking for some sort of answer(s) for a long time, and after soany years I'm here. This has never gone away for me...

Windafire, did you notice that the site you provided a link to is one for a series of fictional stories? It isn't fact and it doesn't indicate that there really is a Holder or Keeper of Bad Dreams.

It sounds like an off shoot theory of the story of Pandoras box.

You may also want to look into stories about Morpheus or Hypnos. Nyx may be an associate of dreams as well as Phantasos. The Greeks had many Deities for many things.

Dear KaiCeeCrane

first off i am not all knowing but i will gladly give you my view on your dream experience. if you find it helpful I'm glad to help if not or well.

i will start from the beginning of your experience

hallways are often seen as a path we will go down or need to take. the fact that you describe it as 1800 may mean you need to refer to the past for guidance. the two room opposite each other left and right cold mean finding a balance on your path. bedrooms are seen as a place for relaxation and are sacred space. were bathroom can been seen as a place of cleansing both the mind an spirit.

to many the number three is a magical number, could be the tree girls represent the witches pyramid within a circle. which is used in some sigil's. so it may be worth looking at what the girls have before them and drawing out where the items are in the circle or triangle and see if the sigil that appears means anything to your.

the girl heading to the bathroom could have done something which required her to cleans her mind, body and soul. the spirit that kills her and left a red cross on her head. may be a spirit of balance the redcross can symbolise may things but to me with the hallway and the two rooms this would mean the cross roads.

maybe the girls were trying to upset the balances or had made a deal with a demon at the crossroads and were trying to destroy the balance or go back on there word so the spirit killed them. ( just my view)

the fact that you weren't attacked by the spirit and it called your (the keeper of bad dream) may be seen as many thing and your own belief and feeling when the words were spoken is most likely a good sense to go on. this could mean a warning that if you try and upset the balance or going back on your word with a spirit. the spirits wont be happy with you. that not to say they will kill you.
I personally think the spirits are trying to guide you to take time on your path keeping in tune and respect with the balance of the world and universe in your practice, and to not make promises you cant keep.

but remember this is my view and my view only i am not an expert of dreams and the symbols that mean one thing to me may mean another to others.

let me know how it goes and if you need any other help let me know.
