Funeral

My great great aunt recently passed away, and I was wondering what to expect at a witches funeral. The craft in my family typically skips a generation, so it doesn't happen often.

Well, It depends on your family to be frank. Does you family practice or respect that your great great aunt practiced? Often times, witches get christian burials because those responsible for the burial don't repect their beliefs and/or look down upon them. I've been to several witches burials and all recieved chriatian burials because their families treated their beliefs as taboo.

If your family does respect her practice/beliefs it would depend upon how knowledgeable they are and what pathh your great great aunt was.

I'd reccomended speaking with your family about it and feel out where they are stand on it.

There's no way to know for certain. Half are hardcore christian, and the other half are of various beliefs. But respect everyone as equal.

Then definately talk to them about it. If they respect her beliefe, they'll incorporate them into her funeral, b u t the reason you're going to want to talk to them is that some times grief can cloud peoples mind and put this consideration on the back burner. It is wonderful that respect is highly valued in your family.
