Stones Crystals and Gems

I feel like we need a thread on this topic. Stones rocks and gems can have meanings and help with different things. If you know a few then share them! I will start.

Amythest can attract spirits. I have a huge amythest core sample I hold when I try to attract spirits into my house. You have to be careful though because it can attract bad spirits also.

I also wear a necklace with amythest in it to spice my life up a bit. I feel more connected with the dead that way. I don't know why though.

I was told a long time ago that charged citrine placed in the farthest left corner of a room from the door will bring you wealth and prosperity.

Hasn't gone wrong for me yet.

I also enjoy wearing it or having it in charms to carry with me.

Agate typically appears as a brown or gold stone, and is occasionally found with bands across it. Variations such as Moss Agate may appear with green or blue colors. Connected to the element of Earth, Agate is related to the brow chakra and matters of the mind. Use it in workings related to energy, depression, and mental health. A popular use for agate in magic is to use in rituals relating to discovery and truth, memories and healing, and overcoming feelings of loneliness or sadness.

That's why I am so glad that agates are found around my house. They are HUGE. I use these a lot in elemental magick because earth is my element. I also love working with energy and agates help me transfer energy easier.

Citrine is a stone I have been looking foward to working with. Smashed up pieces of a lot of stones can be burned in spellwork or put into a sachet. In this case, I would put it into a sachet for my breadwinner to carry with him to make me some more coins to spend on witchy stuff lol.

I think my favorite stone is rose quartz. I have a heart stone Heather bought for me last year for my birthday. I use it frequently to meditate with. It helps keep me more emotionally balanced by helping me get calm. It's a good stone for healing emotional pain. It eases my anxiety, depression, and anger a little bit. It's obviously not a substitute for medication but more of a in addition to.

Clear quartz is another one I really like. It's good for amplifying magick in a general degree kinda like the full moon to power things up. I have a jar of pieces for burning or putting into sachets. I intend to put a piece into a dream pillow at some point. I also have a slender piece perfect for attaching to my wand which I have almost finished painting. It's made of sycamore given to me by a Dryad friend.

What kind of stones do you guys like and what do you use them for?

Amethyst is one of my favorite stones. It is useful in meditation. It is also good for healing.

I like quartz in general for removing negativity. Blue lace agate is also good for peaceful feelings.

Citrine is good for communication and abundance. I am in
Toastmasters, so I use citrine quite a bit.

In my office I have exactly 6 crystals/gemstones.

I have:

• Two Amethysts
• Quartz
• Selenite
• Rose Quartz
• Moon Stone

The Selenite, amethysts and quartz are always on my table where I do my tarot readings. There's also two candle holders and a black cloth inscribed wit the zodiac signs in a circle, painted in white.

I find that gemstones and crystals do help a lot, and their vibes are amazing.

I use Amethyst for:

• Getting cleared messages
• Keeping stability
• Meditation

I use Selenite and Quartz for:

• Clearing bad energies
• Attracting positivity
• Keeping a safe enviroment
• Cleansing my cards ( when I do )

I've noticed that when I travel and I either forget my crystals or simply can not bring them, it makes everything harder. Not impossible, but there's definetly a huge difference.

I use them all for spiritual working as well, minus the moonstone and rose quartz that I only use for spells.
