ok i think that Maeglin gets it now, people are upset that he showed his opinion. he does not have to believe in all the things that were in previous argument as we do not have to believe that his statement are fact. people that believe in this stuff have a right to believe it, maybe from past experience like me and many of you, from friend or family that have also had these experiences. i think we should end this conversation before it gets any more out of hand. Maeglin, you as a moderator has the duties to keep peace in the forums, not cause disruption. you probably knew posting this forum would just start trouble. it is not worth the hassle of causing trouble just write these thing a book or something.

Sigh. I can understand the problems seen though. Beliefe is one thing, foolish mysticism is quite another. There are people discussing all sorts of bizarre things that simply... do not happen. For instance, flying on broomsticks, I do not care how you anoint it or what wood you use... no amount of anything is going to lift that broom in the air. There are, in its basic essence, very few honest people and practitioners on this site. I came here seeking knowledge to further my studies and I found a bunch of broken ideas, and gibberish. Beliefs set aside, lets face it. He is right. This is not so much a place of learning as a warehouse for failed ideals.
I respect your right to have them, but it does not change their essence therein. In a galley of fools, who then will be king? No one, because all are fools. The goes for here. Awash somewhere in this sea of simpering wannabe's I'm sure there is true magic. But if so, it is hidden very well.

just like on any website there will be people who will have an outlandish comment. saying that the whole website is filled with broken ideas is also false, although there will be false ideas we allow people to say what they want, in return we get to say what we want. if you want to learn from people on here go with people willing to teach but also know what they are talking about.

I felt as though I am the only one left who realized this. I have made it my personal mission to restore the forums back to a place of intelligence and spirituality, even if it means removing/harrassing members.

Lol Jahbulon, thats wrong but its also effective. I dont know why people want to lie about themselves. Its not like your trying to impress us because we dont even know you. So its not necessary to lie to a bunch of strangers.

How so? Wrong is opinions, since there is no real purpose for the universe's existence, we cannot say something is wrong or right morally. The only way we can say something is right or wrong is by it's effect on the efficiency of whatever is in question.

Hmm, that post made me think. And your right. Right or wrong has nothing to do with it, its how effecient it is. Lol you could probably run anyone that you want off of their account if you wanted to because your the type of person who doesnt quit until the job is done. I commend you on this. This site needs a deep purging. These fakers posting out rages stories is VERY annoying. Then when you say they are lieing, they whine and say " I dont care if you dont believe me." Thats their favorite line to use. But then I want to ask "If you didnt care for our opinoin then why post it in the public forum for EVERYONE to see.?" but i never get around to it. Lol what im trying to say is that although the way you run people out of here is kind of harsh, its very effective.

Exactly, it works. It shoudln't matter what happens, it gets the job done without cuasing any other side effect that counteracts the progress.

in the time i have been on this site i have seen some pretty amazing people and some really...REALLY overimaginative ones...
but i still dont have the right to say they live in a fantasy world cus i dont have the right to demolish their fantasies or even try to...so i suggest people who are SO attached to their beliefs that they have to destroy other beliefs, to get the hell off of this site cus they wont do good here...this site is free and allways will be...this site is here to help learn magic and let you have your own beliefs........
blessed be!

Try to keep one thing in mind about your opinions...

Its only your an opinion and should not be forced on others. Everyone has a right to their own...

There has been lots of damage done in history based on poeple trying to force their opinions on others. Peace!!! ^ ^
