You cannot physically travel back in time for a number of reasons. Closest thing I can think of is past life regression or some similar form of meditation, but you do not physically go into the past, it's more vividly remembering the past. With out the help of cronos [father time not the titan] , it is physically impossible to travel through time. period.
You can have visions of the psat or future, re-experience items of memory be them yours or other but you are not actually there. it's like a dream.
Travelling through time, if it were possible, would be so dangerous that even maraquden, pronounced marah qu den, laws would with hold the information on the know how.
While what you are thinking of sounds like holywood nonsense, there is one fact in holywood that would hold true:
You change one tiny detail your hole future changes. Everything has a reason.

Honestly nobody has ever really proven to me that time travel is fake although neither have they proved it real, but ether way if anyone knew how there are multiple ways you could destroy time
1:Change something and fail.
2:Change something and succeed, but then never have a reason to go back, thus causing you to not go back to change it causing a paradox.
