My Age Effecting Covens?

I was wondering, for covens on SoM and off, if they would reject me because I am 13?

Covens in real life often have a minimum age of 18, sometimes even 21. This can be due to the fact that they teach the religion of Wicca and your religion is in the hands of your parents till you are classed as an adult in your country. Plus it ensures that you will take part in the coven and not need parents permission to undertake in rituals, etc.

I have never had any experience of SoM covens having too much of an issue with it because the site minimum age is 18.

Some covens may reject you on account of your age regardless of site rules. This is due to mature topics, such as those involving offering alcohol or tobacco to spirits/deities, which it is illegal for a minor to do without parental consent. Due to the nature of the internet, parental consent is suspect at best.

I believe a person should be 18 or older to Join any Magic Group in General, a lot of the info shared are adult based and also
Can go over the head of less mentally mature people not to mention legal aspects of speaking on certain topics to minors can be criminal
