Question?

What happens normally if we never use an alter or create a circle. I use my own self as the circle and alter. What if we can cast spells with out conforming to the usual belief systems of wicca/witchcraft. I just call up the 5 elements, do the spell and then give thanks, is that normal. Or is it a personal thing and everyone is different?

Hi All,

Anyone can practise magick, no matter what your religion or faith. All faiths have there own magick of such. For instance, most religions practise prayer, and prayer is a very simple spell form. You are raising power inside of yourself by thinking of your wish and sending it outwards in the form of prayer.

As for ritual tools, such as an altar and casting circles. These are tools of the trade but are not always needed. Many people use the tools to help with their imagination and bring greater substance to their workings. I personally never perform magick without using my tools, however, with good visualisation and the ability to cone power then you are able to perform spells and rituals without the need for additional tools. Everything you need is inside you. Focus on your body, it's power and abilities and you will be fine.

Hope this helps

Blessed Be
