There's a practice called Shadow Self Work where you "deal with your demons" in that you understand commonly perceived negative emotions such as fear, anger, sadness, loneliness, and the like, and in that understanding, your repressed aspects are dealt with in a way that makes you more whole.
A simple form of of SSW is confronting these forms you see, realize that they may or may not be real, and tell them that they scare you. Now, depending on the circumstances and your mental state, you'll get a different response, but the point is to actually feel the emotions in a healthy manner and then tell the object or person of your fear that you no longer have need to fear them. Get to understand why they make you feel the way you do, understand the root of the fear, and deal with that.
Fear is not cowardly as people often think because it is an instinct of survival. While healthy in small doses, obsessive fear needs to be dealt with further. If you try any psychology based techniques and they still don't help, then I suggest you see a professional therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. There is no shame in being a spiritual practitioner that needs help because there is no shame in receiving help if you actually need it.
