Wand Question

I make wands, And was wondering: Whats a good enchantment for wands?

Chakra wands are usually the best kind to have... If you haven't herd of them, I'm sure you could google some to get a good idea.

What are you looking to use them for? That would determine a ton of what enchantments you'd want to use.

Alright, then what kinds of things would you associate with illusion spells? Make a list, see what's conducive to wand making, and go from there.

Can I break a larger piece of stick to make a wand? Because I have a really long stick (its probably taller than me) so can I just chop it to my desired length? Please mail me if you have any idea about this ...

Can I just use any pencil and use it as a wand? Do I necessarily have to charge it with moonlight, or can I just charge it by giving it energy? Please message me the answer if you know. Thank you. =)

Angela, that answer can come from a broad spectrum of beliefs, traditions, and preferences.

What it comes down to is that a wand is merely a tool. It is symbolic and used for directing energy. Many people choose to use a wand, many choose to use a ritual knife for the same purpose, and many will simply point. Some people will use a staff or sword for the same purposes. Again, this can depend on tradition, preference, and it can even be dependent upon rank in an organized group.

But more directly to your question: most people who ise a wand will dedicate it to the purpose. That is, if they use a pencil, then that pencil becomes their wand. They do not use it for any ither purpose. Some may use a ceremony for dedication, while some just decide and use the tool for no other purpose.

A magic wand is an extention of the spellcasters will and can be enchanted in verious different ways, it really all depends on what you want to enchant it with and how you go about doing it, I have enchanted my red oak wand of serpents with two lairs of enchantment on it, I charged it with power from my core intelligence, and cosmic power from the universe itself.

I recharge it from time to time, alternating between my core intelligence and cosmic energies, each recharge making it more and more powerful, allowing me to attain a deeper focus, and the more I recharge it, my focus will affect different plains of reality, starting from the mental plain and eventually effecting the physical plain. and in this way, you can even will the wand to grow in power each day for an eternity during a recharge session.

This is just an example of what can be done with a wand, the wand I described is good as a multipurpose wand and can be used for all sorts of different spells. However, you can charge it for a specific purpose, woods, gems and core components can all help determine what you wanna use the wand for, like for an example, a wand made from apple wood, rose quarts and powdered emerald in the handle could be good for performing love spells. A wand of willow, moonstone, silver and powdered pearls in the handle could be used for lunar and goddess based spells. A wand of ebony is extremely powerful and is best wielded by a master for it can manefest whatever you are thinking of and make it happen if your not careful, and is NOT suitable for a novice, such a wand is a conduit of pure, exhalting power and must be treated with the utmost respect, any negative thoughts towards anyone, whether you actually mean it or not, will result in that person getting seriously effective in a bad way, or worse, actually killed, and the negative karmic backlash could be catastrophic to the weilder of the wand
