Gender !!

Maybe you don't understand this because you are not transgender,, but being defined as the gender you were born with can put a lot of stress on trans people.
Also I see you referred to me as "school boy" ? If you look in my about it say's that I am genderless and that I hope you will respect that?

I don't want to mess with the guidelines I'm sorry about that, But I did think it was very important to post and that it would help a lot of people on this site accept who they were.
And I am not happy to see negative vibes attached to it.

I've come across some of these comments as transphobic, but I realize you might just be having a hard time understanding.
This is such a bigger subject than you realize and I really do want you to understand.

To mirror as I said before,, you are not your sexual organs, the only purpose for those sexual organs is medical health and sex.
Yes you may still have a connection to your physical appearance, but it does not change who you are, and who you want to be.

As a transgender person I find some of the things being said offensive, I thought this would be a lighthearted post with people who are happy about themselves and accepting themselves.

Jaze, your profile says "busy with school"; I'm sorry that I said "schoolboy" as you don't like being a boy.I do respect you, and I am understanding about your feelings. Your post may have been "lighthearted" to you, but it is a very serious subject, because so many are misunderstood about their sexual feelings; and often condemned for them! You were trying to explain that we should be happy at the way we are. Most of us are; but there are still many with problems.

By the way, I was a professional entertainer for over sixty years.Around 50% of showbusiness people are Gay,Lesbian,Transexual,or Transgendered; or somewhere in between . I am certainly not homophobic! I have spent a lifetime among them! Many of them are still my friends, and have been for many years.

Let me rephrase the light hearted part: happy and meant for people to accept and love themselves.

Isn't loving and accepting yourself a big part in magic? Is it not magic, is it not where we should all start?

Not trying to put you down by saying this though, but, are you transgender? If not, then I don't think you know the pain of fearing for your life or fearing for your safety whenever you mention being transgender, how painful and terrible it is to feel when you are misgendered.
Just because you know trans people does not mean you are not transphobic, you are not part of the oppressed group, all you can do is support them and spread their messaage.
Do you think I do not know the pain of being condemned? Also this post was meant specifically for transgender people as sexuality and gender are different.

I would like to speak on the original posts use of the words self acceptance. The self is who we are. It is what we are born with. Acceptance of self is to accept and deal/live with who and what we are. So to transition to a different gender is not acceptance of who we are or the self but it is more the courage to define ourselves by our own standards and the standards that others have placed on us.

That being said there is power in defining ourselves but it is folly to throw aside the wisdom of being what we were meant to be and accepting ourselves as we are.

Who you are is who you are inside, not your genitalia, I was talking about accepting who you are inside and being able to be yourself accordingly,,Could you maybe rephrase for me?

Gender and sexual organs have nothing to do with eachother, while it's originally meant for feminine and masculine terms, it is more of a term for doctors.
What I'm trying to say is that you are not your chromozones and that you should be able to dress, act, and be who you are. You should be able to be accepted by others and have them use your correct pronouns (which are the ones you choose and are comfortable with).
For some people, transitioning is the only way to get rid of dysphoria and self hate though, and I don't think that's a bad thing. but don't we all have things we'd like to change about ourselves? don't we all wish we were accepted and loved? people are allowed to do things for themselves that make them happy,,

Jaze you are correct and you get your point across just fine. Our bodies are nothing but flesh bags! When you strip away the outside you are left with you! PERFECT IT YOUR OWN WAY! So are you saying that what you hate is the internal you? Or do you hate the flesh bag? And why does anyone hate themselves?

Jaze, do you really think nobody understands you unless they themselves are transgenders? That's like saying a doctor doesn't understand an illness unless he himself has the same illness! Some of us are very much older than you, have experience of life, have had longer to study. So, don't think nobody understands you. I have lived a lot longer than you have been alive! You think nobody understands you? Every teenager I have ever met thinks the same. The constant cry of a teenager is "Nobody understands me!". But we do, Jaze, we understand very well! We were all teenagers once!
And, no, you didn't upset me.You are the one who is upset! And I am sorry about that.

What people sometimes see is that the outside them is the inside them, and they dispise themselves for it, and it saddens me so much to see that and sometimes feel it.
A doctor can understand and care for a patient, but that doctor does not have the illness themself, and for trans people, you need to let them speak about their pain.

Thank you for bearing with me, I'm so glad because it's hard to control impulses and have a stable mood with my disorder. It means a lot and I'm glad that I didn't upset anyone,,
