to forget the ex spell

hallo
so i did my first spell of forgetting the ex which is to write his name in one piece of paper and mix with the others and to burn it etc.
i felt like for 4 days that the pain or the need to see him was fade ....anyone know if the effect stays longer because i think my feelings start to increase again?
and if i'm doing this kind of spell there is a chance that its effecting also him like to forget me although the words of the spell directed to one direction i'm forgetting him ....?

i think it was a placebo. you could also try writing a letter to him and burning it. vent out your pain into this letter, visualize telling him these things face to face, then burn it and say something like 'we are over, while hurtful now, it is best' to start the healing process. you will never fully forget him, sometimes some one or something will remind you of him and the memories will return. if you work on letting go and moving on, the pain won't be there.
