Yoga Miracle

For about a year now I began practicing kundalini yoga and I cant even begin to say how much better my life is compared to using conventional new age mysticism for years. Not that western new age teachings are garbage, but in what ive seen alot of western teachings are incomplete as most western mysticism is actually European and we all know how occultists their were treated when the church rised to power. But other eastern cultures had it better and more time to store their occult teachings and have more than most of our western mystics have. Thats why i believe eastern mysticism has an advantage point over us, and is why I use it more.

The big shocker is when I gave advice to help a girl with fertility issues here and gave her a page of yogic practices designed to help her alleviate and heal her. A moderator said i was crazy and way wrong, but as I said on my previous post "On what basis do you say that"? It is almost common knowledge exersise heals the body so I believed yoga (type of exersise) would be helpful, but he went on to say alot of things on emails we sent each other. Im afraid not only is he wrong but he crossed the line of authority he has as a person. He calimed yoga cant help, but isnt that more something only a doctor can have a say in?

Here is medical evidence that supports yogas miraculous healing abilities just for fertility:

Understanding the stress connection

The link between stress and infertility is well recognized. Studies have shown that the diagnosis of infertility can create a “stress response” similar to that experienced by patients with terminal illnesses.  Physiologically, stress hormones, including cortisol, ACTH, norepinephrine and epinephrine are released into the bloodstream by the sympathetic nervous system and hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, forcing the body into “survival mode”.  (1) In a state of fight or flight, vital functions are prioritized over reproductive function.  A constant surge of stress hormones over time interferes with hormonal balance and ovulation patterns.

Yoga for fertility

Yoga for fertility is an energizing form of exercise that encourages relaxation at the deepest level. The Fertile Secret yoga combines specialized postures, breathing, guided imagery, relaxation techniques and group support to enhance reproductive function in both men and women.

Research

Studies are confirming the link between stress reduction and increased conception rates. One study by Harvard researcher Alice Domar PhD showed that 55% of infertility patients who participated in her mind body program for a 10-week period (which included yoga and meditation) conceived, compared to 20% in the control group when tested after one year. (3&4)
Mind body techniques such as yoga have also been shown to improve in vitro fertilization success rates by lowering stress hormones. In a behavioral study of 151 women undergoing IVF, birth rates were 93% higher for women with the lowest stress and depression levels. (5) Conversely, high stress rates were shown to diminish IVF success rates. (6)

The point is that these 2 moderators who are ranked as knowledgeables I believe, said yoga cant do this yet professional medical research surppasses their authority on such claims and ask you reconsider your words from now on when speaking to anyone here sharing their beliefs. I didn't put either of their names because I was taught to not publicly humiliate or emberass someone becuase its wrong and damaging to a person. So its up to both of you to reconsider your actions, ive noticed im not the only one who has felt attacked by you.

Remember that high rankers here have no domino over anyones beliefs, because they are knowledgeable of their stuff not yours or mine. Remember they make mistakes to and might unknowingly teach false information. Remember if you say something that offends someone, whether intentional or not, its still offensive and thats all it takes to be offensive. Reword what you say and make it right, we are all expected to act professional here so that means you to. Sorry if i offend anyone ever with my words, but we all have the right to speak our minds

But you are not speaking your mind. You are speaking somebody else's mind. For instance, what has been written in a Yoga Journal. All very well if you believe in Yoga; but what about those who do not! I am not meaning to offend you, you have the right to state your opinion. But anyone has also the right to disagree!

I'm not arguing the points made in the article, but I will point out that the article is not taken from a medical journal, merely one touting the benefits of yoga. Nor is it from a peer-reviewed journal where the results are tested and confirmed by neutral parties. Therefore one should not make the claim that one article from a biased journal " proves " anything. Not all such places on the internet are accurate. So no, the article you cite is neither "medical evidence" nor "proof" of what you are claiming.

I do believe that there is benefit to be gained from yoga, especially in the areas of stress relief, and it is a known fact that stress can have a negative impact on the function of the human body. So it could be said that yoga can help alleviate stress and in situations where a couple is stressed out about trying to conceive that might help. But human fertility is a huge area with many different causes other than simple stress. So yoga is not necessarily going to "heal" the problem if the problem isn't stress related. As an adjunct to other fertility treatments it certainly can't hurt and might help.

I will also point out that dragging conflicts you have with certain members on the boards is frowned upon and is uneccessary in making your point. It would be wise to refrain from it in the future.

There are benefits to yoga, but when it comes to medical issues and pregnancy helped by yoga, I would seek a doctors opinion before a post on the internet. I'm not saying yes or no to the practice, I have done yoga for about 7 years on and off. As a way to relax and keep in shape I would recommend trying it, but if someone was having a fertility issue for instance, I would give them medical advice, not stretches and breathing techniques [though they could help]

Regarding the last paragraph of yours, have you ever heard the tale of the two monks? Two monks were walking down a path, eventually they come to a river where a woman stands unable to cross. The older monk picks her up and carries her across, leaving her safely on the other side. The two continue on, but the younger monk is quiet, wondering why the elder picked up the woman when they made a sacred oath to avoid woman. After many miles the younger monk finally exclaimed 'why did you carry that woman when it is forbidden!?' The older monk shook his head and replied 'I left that woman by the river. Why do you still carry her?'

The hurt may still remain, but picking at it doesn't help. Perhaps some yoga will help clear your head.

you guys missed the point of my past 2 articles smh...
You guys might right about the yoga thing, that isnt the biggie i pointed in both articles, i clarified what was. Its that brysing and a some others say things that are taken as offensive and he gets away with it. Yes freedom of speech, but you expect us to behave well and speak a certain way that is clear and kind yet if any of us mess up we get attacked. A few times brysing has been called out by others and moderators defend him. If u were really a neutral party you would see his side yes, and ours to. Like in one article about a pact with satan, a person asked why is his pact failing. People answered and he jumps in and claims "satan is a concept" i see his point but obviously this person believes in satan. If u were a christian and intell you that G-d doesnt answer ur prayers because he doesnt exist, i think u would b offeneded. A person mentioned that and another moderator or Knowledgeable said no and didnt reason why. Why doesnt he ever get told to simply restate himself? If this was a revenge thing then i wouldve mentioned his name, but i didnt. Ive had a couple of messages sent to me they agree with me becuase they cant post becuase they dont feel safe and if they do say something they are attacked not redirected. Please explain, obviously i need guidance

Oh and to clarify i never said yoga is the sole healer, the link only clarified that. I said brysing cant claim yoga cant help at all, which he did say. Why didnt u say anything in my alzheimers post?? Ive heard ur busy but isnt it yr job to keep tracknof this place isnt it? Who knows what garabage i might have said and you wouldnt know. In fact someone couldve attacked me and u wouldn't know would you? My point is, just have more respect to us, i admit to my mistakes but i need others not to cross the line either

If somebody posts that Satan is real; that fairies are real; that vampires are real. Then I will post that it is not true!
Now, if somebody posts, "It is my belief that Satan is real." I would not be so harsh.
But let me ask you something Libra. The minimum age for members is 13. Now, if a 3 year old asks me if fairies are real, I would not tell the child that it was nonsense. I would say, "Oh, they maybe real. Perhaps they are."
But when a member of this site says that they can grow wings and fly. Do you really think a responsible adult would not say,"Don't be silly."
