watch your breathing, inhale through your nose and at the same time bring your eyesight up the most that you can (eyes close) when you exhale through your mouth bring your eyes down again repeat this for at least ten times.... start counting backwards with each breath!

The best tip you need is to find the method that works for you. There are many methods to trance work. Some such as music, dance, breathing, and use of plants. Domr methods you may have to study to get a better understanding. There's plenty more ways. Just figure out what will work for you and practice at it.
