There really isn't a test, I do recommend Larks post though. Everyone grows at different speeds, but I feel if you have a few good years under your belt and at least have a lot of basic information memorized [like you don't have to check a book for how to cast a circle] then you should be fine. There is more to being a teacher though. In a Covens you are typically appointed when they feel you are ready, but online you could start teaching the day after you get your first book on magick. [Not saying you should, you just could] remember this is a persons spiritual guidance you are dealing with, so be wise, respectful, and above all, do not teach what you do not know. Clearly state what you do and do not know along with how far you can/will teach someone because eventually they need to strick out on their own.
