Charging a crystal.

Okay, So I have a peice of Routilated Quartz and I want to use it in healing spells. But I don't really know much about crystals. I read that routilated quartz is good for healing aura, and warding off negative energy, So I figured it would be a good stone to use for healing. So, really, I'm just looking for any Info related to this.

Rutilated Quartz has a very high vibration to it.
Does it have golden threads?
In any case, the Rutilated Crystals are often used in healing. Sometime, they are put into a wand. Because they have such a high vibration and are a great ampliphier they work well with the solar plexus chakra, which is the seat of the will.
