Astral Projection

Astral Projection is when your soul (spirit) exits your body (by your doing). What I mean by "your doing" is, when your body is asleep (relaxation is the key) and your mind is awake, you spirit will start detaching itself from your physical body. In this I will teach you step by step on how to enter and exit the " Astral Plane ". Remember that your first time trying this it will be hard and will probably not work, but that doesn't mean you don't try again, you should keep trying until you do it.

Comfort/Meditation- Some people are under the assumption that you have to meditate in " Lotus Position " this is not true, meditation happens when you are comfortable, this means you can lay on your bed, couch, floor..ect, all that matters is that you are comfortable. This technique also plays a huge roll in " Astral Projection ". Relaxation must be preformed, this happens when you stretch your muscles and then release them.

Breathing- Another important part of " Astral Projecting " is breathing . Not just breathing " Even Breathing ". This can happen by counting to either 2 or 10 (Inhale) and 2 or 10 (Exhale). This allows you to go into further relaxation.

Imagination/Inner Voice- Okay some people misconceive that when you are told to quiet your " Inner Voice " that means to quiet you " Imagination " that isn't true. Yes you must push aside your inner voice, but you must imagine, otherwise your mind will fall asleep. If people tell you don't have do either, then they have obviously not mastered or tempted " Astral Projection ".

Your Body Chemical- I am now going into a sort of health related subject. When you relax (especially during day). Your body will send a chemical that will make your body want to move, you must completely be still in order to successfully do " Astral Projection ".

Exiting Your Body- Before your soul (spirit) exits your body, you will start feel vibrations (some people claim to hear buzzing in their ears). Then then they will start feeling their body detach, I do not know how to explain the feeling.

Astral Plane- Some people say the " Astral Plane " is a soul ridden place, some say it's like Earth, just spirit view. They are both right, but they are also wrong, the " Astral Realm " is filled with many planes, some not even physically real. You soul can travel to places humans don't even know of.

The Cord- Some people ask "How does our soul not wander to Heaven or Hell?" well again Heaven and Hell are both apart of a religious belief. Not everyone believe in it. Well how our souls do not wander off is because our souls are connected to our bodies. This connection is by a cord. It is also called the " Silver Cord " this allows you to go anywhere and be able to return to your body.

The Return- After a while you will want to go back into your physical body, well in this case you let the " Silver Cord " drag you back to you body, but when you do get back slowly move your body one muscle at a time.

Remember again this will probably not happen the first time, please remember beginners that I recommend not leaving the room where your body is, the first time you successfully Astral Project.

When I have astral projected, I have never seen nor felt a cord attached to my body.I have actually tried to force myself to see or even to feel this cord, and not once have I had any inkling that it exists for me. I feel this could be for any number of reasons, ranging from "It's not within my perception to perceive it" to "I simply don't have one." I have never had any problems finding my body or having my self wander around on the astral plane however.

I also do not feel "vibrations", however I feel the energy levels within and around me change vastly, opening and swelling until a point where I disconnect through one way or another. It's not really a vibrating feeling for me. :)

I'm curious what your thoughts are on this. :)

Well the cord is only there to keep you attached to your body, without the cord your spirit will wonder off and never return.

Then can you think of a reason why I have yet to have wandered off and never return? :)

Because you are attached to your body...You may not feel or see the cord, but it's there.

Then how can it be there if it is not there?

Seeing isn't believing, believing is seeing.

Yet belief alone does not make something real, and belief can cloud the perception of a person to only let them see what they are able to see.

There are some people who say that the cord does not actually exist but is just a metaphor for the force that pulls someone back to there body, or that keep them from losing there way and being unable to return to the body. Others claim it absolutely exist. I myself can not see a cord when a project, but that doesn't mean that a cord doesn't exist. there are many things that someone can not directly perceive (such as air) that do exist. It is possible that some can perceive it while others do not. In the end, as long as you are able to return to your body it doesn't really matter how you do it.
