Can everyone tell me what element is in what direction, north east south west. I tried google but i found out that many people uses different direction for elements, sometimes water in the east sometimes in the west, be it chinese or etc, etc. Which one should i use. Which one is correct for witches/wizards.
North: earth, colour green [some go with brown though]
each direction also has it's strengths [like water works with emotions, fire with passion, earth with strength, air with intelligence] and tools that represent them. there is no one element that's right for witches/wizards, you should try to connect with all of them. each person though has 2 that they are already connected with, the other two you might struggle to connect with more. the first is the one you're born under. each zodiac sign has an element corresponding with it, that's your birth element, the second is the one you feel most drawn to. sit and meditate on the elements, you should get your answer. better if you do it outside.
Thank you for the directions and colour there is one question. You misunderstood
that is, there are other people like the chinese or etc whatever people, the direction of their element are different. Well like some of them use water in the east or south, the chinese, or indian, or greeks or etc i don't really know what what people but anyway. So what is the right direction used by witches and wizards. The one you gave or those, eg water in the east etc etc.
I am from India. Here people don't use water in east or south. Nekoshema is right. I agree with that directions. And it is right directions used by witches and wizard. If you have doubt then you can check circle casting or pentacle ritual. ~Namaste~
I think it depends more on the culture. Here (The U.S. and perhaps other similar countries), as Neko pointed out, we use those particular correspondences. However, in other countries such as China, they use the elements of metal, water, wood, fire and earth. I would use whichever elements work best with your beliefs and religious practices.
Pranhita, you do not have one single element. You are connected to all of them. If one seems to stand out more to you, it does not mean that you should only work with it, but balance it with the other elements.
