I'm creating a small list of everything that isn't possible because I feel it'll be helpful for people who are new to get an understanding so feel free to add anything you feel is needed

-Shape shifting
-Any type of kinesis
-Any type of elemental control
-Levitation
-Teleporting
-Flying
-Time control and going back in time
-Immortality
-Any kind ofphysical change (Such as changing your eye hair color or getting shorter)
-Rising the dead

Now with that said, please make a post on what Magic CAN do. Everyone that reads these forums knows what you cant do by now, Or they should as much talk as there is about fluffys.

So lets see what you really know.

if the person is starting out with magick, until they figure out what it can and can't do, i'd avoid the categories Trick Spells, Beauty Spells, Weather Spells, and Fantasy Spells. while not all the spells in these categories don't work, most don't. Trick Spells and Fantasy especially. Weather Spells some people say work others don't. [personally if they work this should only be for emergency casting like a drought] Beauty Spells many do work, but some of them, again, might turn out as non-working spells. if it claims dramatic change overnight, hair, eye or skin colour change, it won't work.

magick is energy found in nature, so it has the limitations of nature. things like luck and love can be done [though some can be harder than others] since you're working more with forces and energies than playing god and changing one thing into another. magick isn't what you see in tv and movies. that's the biggest thing you need to remember. real magick is more spiritual than glamorous. yes it's powerful and shouldn't be taken lightly, but there's limits to everything.

I know that the kinesis abilities that many people have began to claim to perform that are ways of controlling the elements are impossible, but I can't say where I got the idea yet I thought there were scientific studies supporting the existence telekinesis or telekinetic abilities in rare individuals. In fact I seem to faintly recall mentioning of laboratory settings where people who supposedly have psychic abilities are tested and studied to determine whether the abilities are real, the extent of these abilities, etc... but what I'm trying to recall is something I heard about years ago and my memory isn't that great. I know trying to backup the potential existence of something without being able to recall facts isn't great but telekinesis is a mental based ability which while requiring great mental power doesn't involve the changing of ones DNA making it highly more...probable if unlikely in your average human being.

Telekinesis is possible. It cant be acheived through spellcraft though. It takes months of practice and meditation before you can do anything at all.

Yes you can't bend the elements as seen in avatar the last air bender,
But you can control the wind to some extent.
Ex. Changing the direction that the wind is blowing.

You cannot change the direction of the wind.

Consider this for the concept of immortality. I have once heard of a theoretical process to be immortal . During your life you learn to master astral projection, then right before your die you astral project and attach yourself to the body of someone. Then while that person is asleep you slowly start to take over there body. You repeat this process with someone else before that body dies. I am not sure that some of you would consider this immortality since the original body has died but you would still be living i geus. This could be considered highly unethical, but you know, there are plenty of people who deserve it.

The constant continuation of the amount of fluffs coming to this site just astounds me. I don't know what else to say. Blessed Be...anyway...

How is that so impossible. Demons have been known to posses people, And if you were particularly advanced in your own magical training and you chose to try to posses someone who is very week willed then why shoudnt you be able to.
