I love this. I'll definitely use it as a guide and send it to anyone who asks about it.

You don't necessarily have to cease to exist. I almost certain there are spells in which you can preserve your essence in some forum or fashion; it's always worth looking into?

A great read, and well - written post, on the subject.

Hopefully, this should clear up some confusion, that beginners may have ( as I did, at one point ).

This was an amazing post! Haha, turns out I have actually already been Heathen my entire life, as all of my personal beliefs have always matched these. Also, can one be Heathen for the Hellenistic deities, or are they just limited to Norse? Because I am new to working with the gods and goddesses, but Artemis, Apollo, Athena, and Poseidon are all Greek. Thanks.

Heathenry is a term that only applies to Germanic/Norse neopaganism and refers to those deities from those pantheons. If you work with Hellenistic deities, it is not Heathenry. Though I suppose an eclectic Heathen could work with other deities as well as the germanic/norse ones.
