Amethyst Healing Spell
You will need: an amethyst (loose or in jewelry)
Healing intentions

1. Hold your amethyst in your right (sending) hand and say or think the following: "Amethyst stands for healing power, please heal ______ (insert name of person to be healed here) this very hour." as many times as you feel the need to.
2. After you're done saying the following, keep holding the stone and visualizing the object of the spell getting stronger and healthier.
3. When you feel that you're ready, release the energy by saying "With harm to none, so mote it be"
4. Wear or carry the amethyst with you throughout the day, still willing the person to heal.

my first BoS had candle colours and associations as it's first spell. i wrote out how to do a candle spell, then made a 2 page list of candle colours, the spell it's best used in, day of the week, and deity. after that it was old spells i read in Buckland books [like knot spells, abracadabra healing, energy work, red ball spell] finally spells i got from other Pagans.

what exactly do you want? is this your first Book of Shadows, or just spells? are you wanting to organize it by type [healing, curse, love] or just put in spells?

You're the only one who decided what to put in the personal Book Of Shadows that you know, since spiritual document specifically belongs to you.

There are many guides online telling what you can possibly add in your Book Of Shadows.

I'd say that you can put this anything associated with your spiritual path including experiences and dream journals. Anything that seems appropriate to you.
Basically a Witch's Book of Shadows is a place where they keep Prayers, Spells, Devotion, Altar Diagrams, Information on the Sabbats, Important dates (Birthdays, Handfastings, Deaths), Information on thier God & Goddess, Herbs, and their craft. A book of shadows is a very personal thing,and should contain the information you find most important.

Remember to have a look at the site's spell book and see if you like any spells, or even better - make your own creations.
Do whatever you want... It's all yours.

Drink some mugwort tea (small doses), and clear your mind to allow inspirational. What are your needs? Your Book of Shadows should be only spells that worked for you, and that you would want your descendants to use with the same result. Collect spells in a file and try them, then the ones that were the most successful put in your book of Shadows. There are spells for inspiration. meditate.
