The test is a great part of the site, because it encourages members to read the rules. If members did not have to read through the test before hopping on the chatter we would have a lot of rule-breaking going on, people would be getting gagged left and right, and they wouldn't understand it. Let's be honest: if it wasn't required to read the rules and take the test to chat, nobody would read them. People still skim through them now even though they are recquired.

As for the "adding friends" button. It is only available on the full site, not mobile. Go to someone's profile, on the right side of their picture it will say " Add (person) as a friend" and "Add (person) to your block list". Click the Add as friend link and they will show up on your friends list if they have added you as well.

I am new to the site, so in a way I view it through fresh eyes.

Something that I feel would help greatly is the ability for members to comment on each individual spell page, and share with the community whether or not the spell worked for them. Afterall, there seem to be a great many people who obviously feel that spells that defy the laws of physics, such as spells for levitation or vampirism, simply do not and could never possibly work.

It is a great feature that anyone can add a spell to the site, but to prevent the lists from being cluttered with fake/not working spells allowing members to comment on each spell will help immensely, that way someone could comment saying something about the alterations they made to make the spell work specifically for them, and give advice on how to go about it etc.

I also feel that enhancing the rating system would be a good idea, basing it off of how effective the spell is rather than how cool the concept is. Maybe a good way to enforce this would be allowing only higher ranked members rate spells... just make sure that -anyone- can comment on it and put their 2 cents in.

XD Okay, I'm done now. I guess I'll come and post again if i think of anything else.

-OH! And you should definitely consider giving moderators the ability to delete spells, or make an auto-delete function if a spell's rating(with the new system of course) falls too low.

After some consideration and thought, I think it would be handy to have a running track of the forum posts you (specifically) have made in your individual history tab. This way, you could easily get back to the posts you made without having to scroll through the pages- and other members would be able to reference them, and easily find your postings.
