Is it a bit... scary, to do it for the first time? I'm only 14, and I want to try to figure out how to do an astral projection (that's what its called...um isn't it?) I'm quite new at this. Is it a bit weird and slightly creepy? What actualy happens? I tried to find out what happens, and people just say I'll have to experience it for myself? Can someone explain to me if its scary? I can find out how to do it myself but any advice would be appreciated.
it is scary at frist but that is gose away it is becuse u dont expact it to work so well then u get scared but it is fun dont be afeard hope that helps
Thanks. I was afraid to do this astral projection stuff. The most I got was feeling sort of tingly and a feeling of leaving my body behind, then I freaked out, opened my eyes, and the feelings stopped.
I've been practicing it for a long time, and I have learned about the astral planes the hard way. It's different for everyone, but here's the largest lesson I learnt:
Karma is instant over there for humans travelling.
Be careful of who you give your trust to. Some spirits are seriously dangerous.
What kind of dangerous things are on the astral plane, and how do I avoid them, can I trust my friends that astral project with me? Or is there someone I could meet on the astral plane that I could truly trust?
You cannot just learn to astral project at one try.. it takes patience, practice, and the will to do it.. it is dangerous in a way, for you could lose your physical body, or be lost in the astral planes..
So you were asking about how it feels when you AP, well, it is a bit Uncanny at the first time, a floating feeling, and a sense of being detached with the physical world.. you can travel at some distance, or even cross another world, or astral plane,,
I wouldn't worry about getting lost if I were you. If you happen to snap out of your trance you'll be right back in your body where you started. As far as getting hurt goes. THere is such a thing as repurcussion where if your astral body gets hurt (which is highly unlikely) it shows a reflection of that injury on your physical body. Earliest accounts of this happening are found in Native American Shamanism. But I really wouldn't worry about it. Also. I wouldn't worry about trying to take somebody with you on your first try. Astral perception isn't actually "traveling" anywhere, but an alteration of your own perception.
emily iff your scared visualize an unbilical cord atatched to home your bed or wherever you are then concentrate first on small steps say to the doorway of the room your in ,then follow the chord backe keep practicing ,getting further and further always following the chord back to your starting point ,with practice and more confidence in the end you wont need that chord ,remember small steps first xxx
