Meditation and visualization of seeing yourself improving should help. Mind over matter is a strong force. People have disproven many doctors that say things are "impossible" but their determination, positive attitude, and positive thinking proved otherwise!
I heard a heart touching story of a man who's leg was amputated who dreamed of running a marathon and he did! Even though doctors said he may not be able to even walk very well again.
Another marathon runner had such bad asthma, they said he could never do any extreme activity, but he built up his endurance and strength slowly and proved them wrong too.
Your illness may never go away, but giving into it is the worst thing you can ever do. Meditation and visualization will aid you in gaining the right frame of mind and help you to heal from mind to body. Don't ever be discouraged.
As for your leg, have you considered accupressure, accupuncture or even just a cup of passionflower tea? For my husband's birthday, I purchased what is called "Miracle Balls" this person who made them created her own method of combating a leg injury when doctors said it may never be the same again! Well she proved them wrong by creating her own relaxation exercises. As I said, if you're determined, you can really make a difference for yourself. They are tiny exercise balls that all you do is lay on or put your arms or legs on that align your body properly used with breathing techniques. I was skeptical but it totally put a stop to my restless legs and my husband's spasmatic back muscles. They may offer some help. They may not be "magick" but they are to me. They prevented my husband from having to take muscle relaxants to help him get through the day, he had such terrible pains. I don't mean to sound like an advertisement. Its just the same as referring a book to someone, in fact, I found it in a bookstore. =)
I know a little of what you are going through. I have mild cerebral palsy, so not as bad as yours, I recently came across something that might help. look into biofeedback on Google, it is suppose to help you control you body functions more and read it might help with cerebral palsy. I haven't used the techniques so I don't know how much it will help. just keep a positive attitude as raven said.
I have worked on a spell to help you with your issue. the herbs are not for consumption. Make or purchase a small cloth bag,I usually make them. Get the following ingredients, I made the list long incase you can't find some, the spell will work as intended. Catnip,cinnamon saffron,spearmint,thyme,cardamon,ginger,jasmine,patchouli oil,adders tongue,black alder bark,eucalyptus oil,fennel,ginko leaves,white horehound,summer savory.Mix all dry ingredients, in your mortar grind the to appx. the same size.
