Dreams?Meditation?

so this is one of my recent experiances. first let me give a little background. in my 15-16's i would meditate daily. and i stoped for about 2 1/2 years. and i recently started up again, been doing it for a week now focusing on my chakras and relaxation.
So i was wondering if Meditation and dreams were related.
so this is how it happened i woke up in the morning got dressed yada yada... and i was going to enroll in college so i was waiting for my ride and i decided to lay down for a few minutes. and my little girl was playing with my hair and then i instantly fell asleep. and in my dream i was on a playground with old friends. and i could see and hear and smell everything perfectly. and in my dream i felt it wasnt real, in fact i knew it wasnt real. and in my dream my friends were fighting and the staff that was supposed to be watching us all, werent even paying attention, so i went and sat down and told my self "this isnt real" took two deep breaths and then opened my eyes and i found myself staring at myself in a mirror and feeling like something slammed into my back. and this all happened while my daughter was pulling my hair.
This has never happened to me before with meditation and all my out-of-body experiances didnt have this effect.
so im asking are meditation and dreams connected and if so is there a way i can unlock past memories from say like childhood and other lives???

and one more thing if you dont have anything nice to say/reply... dont reply, ive had to many mean comments on past sites. i came here to learn about chakras and powers, not to be criticized.
thanks

This coven is made for learning new things, revealing ancient secrets, solving unsolvable problems, share knowledge, accepting the differences, making comparison....so...HERE are only people with open minds, no one will judge no one (unless u state that you can fly, blow fire from your nostrils and fart rainbow)

So, meditation and dreams.....its a lovely combination and even you can tell that they have something in common... The unconsciousness....

When you meditate you turn out the outer world and you explore the inner world... that happens when you go to sleep your dreams are the images, situations, repressed emotions your conscious wasn't able to get it or just simply rejected them as irrelevant or trying to block them because you might be shocked... OMG i went very deep...anyway Dreams can be of great importance they bring long forgotten memories, through dreams spirits try to contact us.. According to me dreams are the most wonderful thing in the world...

Never mind that my point with your case is THAT, your brain was trained to go through the whole process of meditation, your dreams were revealing you things, and ALL that, when it comes to the point of collision comes to that effect that you've been experienced Slight snap, with feeling of strange pain on the back...it could be any part of your body really. So my suggestion will be for you to try to calm, go deep, meditate in dimmed room and see what happens...maybe something interesting will come to your mind.

If any of this doesn't make sense pls write lol cuz it makes sense to me... No, really i'm serious.

Take care

Let me clarify something real quick, this Coven is a mature Coven for mature people. Posting in a way to insult people before they even have a chance to respond will not be tolerated. No one judges anyone around here, though constructive critism is often given. It is by constructively critiqing and analyzing information that we may learn.

(Note** This isn't judging, but next time please don't type everything in lowercase. I have a hard enough time reading post after post without having to strain myself into a migraine.)

Yes dreams and meditations are connected, as both come from your sub-conscience. What you may want to try is called Past Life Regression. And here's two websites to help you get started in that direction:
