The moon?

I dont know if my third eye is beggining to open. Considering I over did third eye excercises. I have been doing them for ages. I tried to open it and test it whilst I was walking to my meeting, I stopped infront of a graveyard. All I basicly did was concentrate all my chi into my forehead, and then it began to ache like it does when your meditating on your head. But nothing... Just nothing.

But then I sat on the park bench. And it was like about 6 at night. (My meeting starts at around 7 every friday)I looked at the moon. I don't know why but I just loved the moon for some reason. It was funny because I began to see colours surrounding the moon in a perfect circle. It was like a rainbow around the moon. Is this some sort of barrier around the moon, can anybody else see it?

I thought it looked really attractive so I kept looking at it. I was actually suprised because I began to think that I was actually seeing a aura. I still wonder if my third eye is opening yet? Could this be the beggining?

Folklore has it that colored rings around the moon signifies bad weather is coming, and in many cases this may be true. The ice crystals that cover the halo signify high altitude, thin cirrus clouds that normally precede a warm front by one or two days. Typically, a warm front will be associated with a low pressure system which is commonly referred to as a storm.

It is believed that the number of stars within a moon halo indicate the number days before bad weather will arrive.

But can you see the rings with the naked eye? Or im able to see it because the over done third eye excercises are paying off?

A group of friends I joined saw the moon with a ring of red light around it-- beginning clearly at the rim around the moon but fading as the rays went out... we all saw it, so I think it was an atmosphere thing.

Do you feel a tickle where your third eye is when you meditate on it? Because that's how I knew mine was open, even if I didn't see anything ghostly at all -- those, I only saw after APing.
I did get precognitive dreams, though, and sometimes knew what a face-down card's suit was only by putting my palm on the back... so I think, entities and auras might be on another frequency.

Sorry Barbarious but as White Rose said this is is probably ice crystals and that coupled with other atmospheric conditions can be seen by many, if not all, except blind folk and they probably feel it.

Sometimes you have to accept world phenomena as being the norm which makes it a special place nonetheless and it is often difficult to separate the 'norm' from something unique.

Glad you saw it though. I rather like seeing this on a full moon through the branches of the fir on a winter's night where the moon tends to colour the clouds.

Good luck with your experimentations.
