Death ice spell

Casted it the other night, willing to accept the repercussions of the spell. The spells calls for the ice to be cracked to signify that the spell worked. I open the freezer today not only to find the ice cracked, but the glass shattered everywhere.

I would post pics of the glass, but sadly no camera.

You can not put a glass of water in the freezer. When the water freezes, it expands, causing the glass to break.

What Espi said, we learn this in basic science. Why do you think we aren't allowed to glass-related materials in the Freezer?

Glass bottles of alcohol is ok. The alcohol will not freeze.

To be honest, I was quite skeptical about the whole thing.
