Kitchen Witchcraft/cooking witchery
Lesson one: intro
Intro to the Subject:
Cooking witchery involves combining cooking and witchcraft together. This not only allows you to use your creativity, but also allows you to expand your spiritual path. Cooking combined with witchcraft is a great way to use your knowledge in magick to be able to use the correspondences of the food, but also allow you to infuse and imprint your magickal energy into your food to give to yourself and to others. In Kitchen witchery, you will be able to create offerings to plants, and deities when you are asking to get something from them, or just to honour them. You will also be able to create your cakes and ale part of ritual if you part take into this part of ritual. Kitchen witchery is a fun and interesting topic, that all witches and people that practice magick should know and learn!
Class intro:
This class will not only focus on magick, we will look into the sources that the foods come from and how they are grown, harvested and processed. By looking at the whole picture you will be able to know where the food is coming from, how it is treated, and how it can affect your body. Looking at food from this stand point, it will allow you to be able to connect to the food and able to infuse it with your magick better. I hope that you will enjoy this class!

2. Food and where it comes from/ growing vs buying
3. Creating your kitchen witchery area

Lesson two: Food and where it comes from/ growing vs buying
When you are cooking, you are probably cooking for yourself or loved ones, and the food that you give them not only helps them, but the energy, magick or call it what you will, will also impact them. If you treat the source of your food poorly, your end product will not look, feel, taste, and smell the way that it should. Likewise if you treat your food with respect and lovingly your food will look, fell, taste, and smell the way that it should. For example we will look at two types of beef, kobe and cheap Costco beef. Kobe is one of the most expensive types of meat because of how the farmers treat their cows. Kobe beef comes from a cow that is massaged and feed only the highest quality feed available, it is castrated to “purify” the cows, and they live in open fields. This produces very high quality beef, and the resulting flavor, texture, smell, and look is extremely pleasant. However, when we look at cheap Costco beef, the look, taste, feel, and smell is very different. Not only are the cows feed poorly, but they are not allowed the open space as the kobe cows are. The Costco cows are treated very poorly and the meat may be on the self for as long as the company will allow it. This type of beef allows for Costco to sell the beef very inexpensively, but the quality is lacking. So which one is better for you? The Kobe beef, because it is basically infused with love and care. Well this is true for every food that you make/grow/ harvest. Before you infuse your food with magick you need to make sure you treat your food with love and care. Then you can use the elements in your food, using correspondences of food, and infusing it with magick.
This is one of the basics to kitchen witchery. The next thing to know is where you are getting your food. I try to get all organic food, or all natural food. Natural food is not regulated by the FDA so I have to look on the ingredient list to know that the food is actually all natural, or if I shop at a place like wholefoods I tend not to look as much as if I were in stop and shop because I know Wholefoods policy and goal as a company. Organic and natural food is food that is not chemically treated and has all natural and organic ingredients/growing supplies in it. This makes it easier to infuse your energy in, and is much better for your body. If you are doing kitchen witchcraft you should only use food that is good for your body because it will have love and care already in it because it is grown all naturally and organically, and again it allows for better programing for energy work with it. Another good source of food is food stands/ local farmers. This not only supports local businesses but it also allows you to look at the source of your food, and allows you to interact with the owner/farmer and see how they are grown and what goes in with them. The last thing I will point out about buying you food is GM food. GM is genetic modified food is better for places where they can not grow their own food, it is not suitable for places like the USA, the UK, Europe and other places where they can grow their own food because it becomes man made, and NOT natural in any way. I can go on about this topic but I will not. Lastly growing/ raising on a mass scale, especially for animals, instills fear / negative energy on what you will eat, which is not good at all!
The next part of this lesson is about growing your own food. I believe that you connect to your food better when you grow them yourself. For one, you can put you own energy into you food, you also know everything that is being put into your food. This is just like if you are buying premade food like cupcakes. It is not only cheaper to buy your own food but it is the process of making the cupcakes that make them taste better, are probably much healthier for you, and allows you to basically program your food with energy. This is all I am going to say about growing your own good: if you have the space and resources available to grow, GROW ALL YOU CAN!!!!

Women have been known to roam the kitchen, but then again so have men in an unpopular level.
For me the kitchen is a place full of life and magic, because food gives life, and life is magic. In everyday paganism, or everyday modern magic it is important to be able to dominate magic even in it's simplest form.

First recipe.

For those who like V-Day.
Our mothers, and grandmothers, etc, made healthy food for us that made us grow big and strong, their spell was love itself. Why not infuse some love to our friends and family on this very commercial, but still fun day :P

Quick and Easy Cherry Mousse

(Cherries and strawberries have great love properties, try to use natural fruits, this is going to make an even healthier and stronger love treat "this is not a love spell, it is a meal for good wishes and to spread good energies")

What You will need

-Strawberry or cherry jam.
-Mascapone
-Whip Cream

1. Put Mascapone into a bowl and mix it with the whip cream until it gets a foamy texture.

2. Add some of the jam until it tastes of slight cherry and takes a pinkish color.

3. Decorate the top with jam and slightly cut pieces to your own like.

:) Enjoy, and best wishes for the coven, will you make everything let it be with a clear mind, and thinking about love, and good wishes.

THE APPLE!

The apple is known for some odd names.

Such as :

  • Fruit of the Underworld
  • SIlver Branch
  • Tree of Love

Associated to the Planet of Venus. The element I associate apples to is Water and Earth.

Assciated Demi/Gods-

  • Venus
  • Hercules
  • Diana
  • Dionysus
  • Apollo
  • Hera
  • Athena

The forbidden fruit yields much power. Cut it in half horizontal to the stem to reveal the sacred witches' pentagram. Eat apples on Samhain. Apples can also be used in place of a poppet.

Add apple blossoms to love and healing incenses. Cut an apple in three pieces, rub each on a sick person's body, and then bury them. The decaying apple will cure the illness. The same ritual is done with warts.

Pour cider to give life to a newly-dug field. Use apple cider in place of blood or wine if they are called for in old magical spells and rites.

Wear apple blossom scented oil to promote happiness and success. The oil can also be used to anoint candles during love rituals and added to a bath to aid relaxation.

Apples are a food of love. Offer a bite to a prospective lover. If he or she accepts, you will begin a love affair.

To strengthen a love bond, give an apple to a lover as a present, cut it in half and eat on half while your lover eats his or hers.

Twist the stem of an apple while calling out the letters of the alphabet. The letter you call out as the stem breaks will be the first letter of the name of your true love.

Rub apple oil or fragrance on red candles to bring true love. Leave an offering of an apple under a tree for Venus and make a request for love.

  • Red apples are for love
  • Golden apples for fame and popularity,
  • Green apples are for prosperity and fertility.

Some information I got was from the followings books:
