You coud use a map, in grids, with a pendulum. How you do it is by a process of elimination by asking the pendulum simple yes or no questions. Feel free to mail me if you require further clarification :)

Depending on your faith, you can pray to St. Anthony and St. Francis for your pets safe return.. St. Anthony is for lost things and St. Francis protects animals.

I've tried many variations of spells to find what is lost, and they vary in degrees of success. A pendulum is one of the best ways as well as dowsing rods or bending sticks. Another way is to meditate and tap into your higher self. It will help you to clear you mind and sort out the possibilities you may not be thinking of in a distressed state. But a protection spell on your pet would be most valuable.

I would also call all local animal hospitals, animal control and shelters and ask if a dog with your dog's description has been taken in. Usually they make note of the description as well as your phone number and will call you if the animal shows up. But keep calling in, they aren't always so mindful or intelligent! Fliers and ads in newspapers do help. My grandmother's dog was lost for two weeks, someone broke into her home and left the door wide open. The woman who picked up the dog saw the newspaper ad and called my grandmother.

If you do find the animal, it may be a good idea to have a chip placed behind his neck on your next visit to the vet. I personally don't do this because my dog is good with commands and doesn't try to run off like some tend to do, but for an animal who tries to "escape" frequently, its an invaluable aid.

I'm sorry, I don't know why I assumed your pet is a dog, but the information I gave would apply to dog, cat or bird.

If the animal has not been picked up by anyone else, they tend to return on their own. This is especially the case for cats and birds. Some intelligent dogs too. So it may be a good idea to spend time outside calling out your animal's name and having some of their favorite food and toy on hand to lure them to you. My dog comes to the ching of my keys because he loves playing with the flashlight I have on them. So if I don't know where he is in the house, I rattle my keys and he comes running (he's a chihuahua). With my childhood cat it was his kibble box. So if you have anything like that, it may be helpful too.

For me, when all is lost, I often find myself turning to the angels. And they almost always come to my help. Here's a little something that you can do. And I pray with all my heart that it helps.

1. Ground and centre yourself or just clear your mind of all negative thoughts and fear.

2. Cleanse a white candle in rock/sea salt water and charge it with your intention. You can do this by holding it in the hand that you use to write, while seeing visions of your pet returning to you healthy and safe.

3. Write the following incantation down and keep a copy as well

...I know that no one and nothing is or can truly be lost because the omnipresent universe (you may say God) watches over everything and everyone. I affirm and believe that nothing is lost from the universe's (God's) point of view. As I write and speak these words I know that the universe can see my pet. I ask the universe (or any God that you believe in) Archangel Micheal, Archangel Raphael, the nature angels along with the guardian angels and ascended masters of my pet (write your pet's name here)to help me reunite with him. I ask the guardian angels of (your pet's name) to give me a signal so that I may find him/her. I know that as pet is on it's way back to me right now. With harm to none, my will be done...

4. Read the incantation out as many times as you like. Let it come from your soul.

5. Burn it in the candle flame and turn your prayer into spirit.

6. See him returning to you healthy and safe as the paper turns to ashes.

7. Scatter the ashes in the place where your pet hung around the most. You may even perform this ritual in the same place.

8. This is optional, but if it helps you stay calm, you may continue to say this incantation as many times as you like by looking at the candle flame.

9. Do not snuff or blow out the candle, the light it sheds will guide your pet home to you. Let it extinguish on it's own and don't worry when that happens.

10. And most important, believe that you'll reunite with your pet who is safe right now and protected by the angels wherever he may be.

Good luck, I really wish that you find what you're looking for.

Yes, pray to St anthony AND St Francis. It really helps, and when the pet returns, thank the saints. Mine just muiraculously did, I´ve searched the whole day and when it got dark I finally found this thread mentioning the saints. Good luck!

I can't help you with a spell, but...
Usually, pets DO return to home. My cousin once lost his pet, and you know what the pet did? Came to MY house. The weird thing? The pet didn't even know where we lived. Lots of animals have psychic powers like humans. I heard about cats travelling long distances to get to it's family that moved away and actually finding them!
I hope your dog/cat/other pet comes home!

I can't thank you enough, Magiwoman01. I tried everything and then did your incantation last night. After weeks, my pet came home. I also used a pendulum and a map and visualized her running home per other suggestions above.

Everyone here seems to have given you wonderful adviceto help to find your pet, so instead, I'm going to give you advice to help you remain calm while looking. I've lost two pets before and I know it's a horrible feeling mixed with pain, loss, and worry.

Carry around a charged rose quartz. I know it's stereotypical but they really do help. They're known for their association with love magic but they also can help you feel better when you're hurt. Amethystis another stereotypical crystal you can carry around. They offer calmness but also will help ease the worry. Any calming crystal will work

I also can send you a recipe to help you relax. I really hope you find them. I'm sure they'll come back soon!

Take care hon. Take it easy.
