Yes, it is difficult when a thousand thoughts are in the Mind. The secret is to concentrate, not try to "empty" the Mind, but to concentrate on one thought. The best way is to concentrate on an object. It can be anything from a lighted candle to a little statue or picture. A small bowl of water is good;put ink or black water paint in it; Works better dark! Get comfortable.Relax. Breathe deeply but gently. Be seated,don't try it at first standing up!That will come later. With practice you will go into a semi-trance like state, and your subconscious brain will "take over". Then the most wonderful things will happen. Takes practice, but you'll get there if you try.
