SELF-DEDICATION CEREMONY

Uhm....I came across this self-dedication ceremony and just wanna ask is this ceremony necessary to become a witch.....and if so is there like a side effect to this.....

It's only necessary if it's necessary for you (like, if you won't feel like a real witch until you've done it.) But I don't think you're own magical abilities will explode into development once you've done it or anything, or remain latent if you don't ...even if it can be helpful to dedicate yourself to a guiding deity or calling your guardians.

If you're going to dedicate yourself to a path under the watch/sponsorship of some big names, then of course you should stick with that path or else you get a reputation in the otherworld as a flake.

I agree with Ravyne I think this is only nessesary if you believe it is. :)
