Charging a wand

I am finishing my wand up and all i want to know is how to charge it and when is the best time to charge it. Thanks :)

Well, right now. Just imagine energy flowing into the wand from the moon, world, ect.

Place your wand on your altar. Imagine a beam of light from above shooting down and charging and and sing the mantra om Mani padme hum. Pick up you wand and hold it like an offering to the east. Say. Archangel Raphael, be present for a gaurd unto this instrument. Imagine a towering winged figure in yellow robes holding a wand before you. Imagine energy flowing from him to your wand. Walk to the south and say. Archangel Michael, be present for a gaurd unto this instrument. Imagine a towering winged figure holding a sword and wearing red robes. Visualize your wand being charged by his energy. Do the same for Gabriel in the west with a cup and blue robes, and Uriel in the north with a pentacle and green robes. Walk to your altar and place it on it. Repeat step one.

I don't want to get to complicated. I saw a high rated spell where all I need to do is hold my wand up to the sky and say a couple words.

You still need to visualize the energy entering the wand from the divine and the elements, so that your wand is blessed by them.
