actually soap can irratate acne, stripping skin of its natrual oils which it needs, then causing an excessive amount of oil to produce which will make the problem much worse.
** Try this-
Half a cup of tumeric
A garlic clove or two
A tomatoe/ and or a couple of strawberries
Half a lemon
Crush and blend these ingredients together to make a paste.
The tomatoes/ and or strawberries contain natrual enzymes which will dissolve excess oils and skin cells, harmlessly.
The lemon is a natrual astrigent and also has a mild peeling effect.
The tumeric is wonderful for spots and helping to get rid of superficial scarring.
** On thing though, I would recommend you do this over night as the tumeric does leave a temporary yellow stain but it the most effective remedy I know.
People in India have been using it for hundreds of years.
My dad has always suggested boiling water with natural sea salt in it, putting a towel over your head, and leaning over the steam. Never could get that to work for me though applying the sea salt water on my face seemed to help. I've also heard of tooth paste being a good home remedy but I've never tried that one.
Urine has been revered by many ancient cultures all throughout history. It's been used externally and internally to cure all sorts of ailments. People who have been on urine therapy for a month or so have reported having really glowing, healthy and even skin. =]
Lots of people believe in urine for healing benifits, though I think I would have to in a life or death situation before I'd consider it...probaly not even then either LOL!
Back to the original post, Dont know any myself but heres a website with lots of different home remedies that you could try..
The "paste" described above sounds good. However, any doctor will tell you that acne needs to be treated mainly from the inside! Plenty of vegetables, less meat. If you boil cabbage drink the water, it is an excellent blood cleanser. As is broccoli, garlic (any of the onion family) and spinach.
